Built to survive a rota
Most OET courses assume you have an evening free and a laptop open. This one assumes you do not. It lives in the app already on your phone, and it waits for you.

What a marked letter looks like
Every submission comes back the same way: the six criteria scored against their own maximum, an estimated result, and the specific lines costing you marks. Purpose is scored out of 3; the other five are out of 7.
Grade B is 350 out of 500 — the level most regulators ask for, including the NMC, GMC and AHPRA. What decides it is the shape across all six criteria, not the total alone.

The ten days
Days 1 to 8 take one criterion at a time. Day 9 is a full letter under exam conditions. Day 10 compares everything you have written and tells you where you stand.
Every case note is written from a doctor's perspective — referrals, discharges, transfers and patient advice. Versions for other healthcare professions are in development.

What this course is, and what it is not
The marking on this course is done by AI. It applies the same six criteria every time and it never gets tired, which makes it a reliable way to build the daily writing habit and to see a weak criterion move over ten letters.
What it cannot do is notice the habits running across your writing the way an experienced reader does. That is what a human correction is for. Dr Mariam has personally marked over 11,000 letters, and reads yours herself.

How accurate is the estimated score?+
It is an estimate, not an official result. The AI scores each criterion against the published descriptors and converts that to a 0–500 figure with a grade. Treat it as a consistent practice benchmark for tracking movement, not a prediction of your exam day result.
What do I actually need to do each day?+
Read the lesson, which arrives as a few short WhatsApp messages, then write one letter from the case notes provided and send it back. Typed or a clear photo of handwriting both work.
How long does each day really take?+
Around an hour. The lesson is five minutes, the letter is the bulk of it, and reading your feedback is another five. The OET Writing sub-test itself allows 45 minutes for one letter, so anything much faster is not realistic practice.
How quickly do I get my letter back?+
About a minute for the scorecard, then a voice note a few minutes later and the model answer after that. Marking is automated, so there is no queue and no turnaround wait. That is different from a human correction from Dr Mariam, which is a separate service with its own turnaround.
What if I miss a day?+
Nothing is lost. Lessons arrive at the hour you choose and wait for you. You can send a letter whenever you are ready, and the course carries on from where you are.
Which profession is this course written for?+
Medicine. Every case note is a doctor's case note, and the letters are the ones doctors actually write: referrals to specialists, discharges to GPs, transfers and patient advice. Versions for other professions are in development.
I am a nurse or pharmacist. Can I still take it?+
You can, and the six criteria are identical for every profession. But the case notes are written from a doctor's perspective, so some clinical detail will sit outside your scope of practice. A version written for your profession is coming.
Do I need anything other than WhatsApp?+
